The Coordinating Council of the General Federation of South Trade Unions issued a statement in solidarity with the workers of the general authority for the organization of land transport affairs in Aden.
Transport workers are asking for the sustainability and protection of their institution from collapsing, following the ministry's decisions, which they considered as "disastrous and arbitrary."
Workers protest also against what they considered as ‘the monopoly of public offices’ and the politicization of the government institutions. They accuse the ministry of endeavouring to its deterioration, threatening to escalate their protests.
