Yemen – contract workers and workers daily wage facility Brom Gaz announced the mobilization of gas lifting their strike, which they have initially started several days ago by lifting up yellow logos and demanding the management of the facility to implement a number of their demands.
The strike came after the workers met with the director of the facility, the deputy director and its financial manager, a representative of the governor of Hadramout, the head of the departments, the legal advisor of the company and some important figures. The director of the facility was contacted by the executive director of the Yemeni gas company, who ordered an increase of 200 riyals and promised thirty workers to contract with them, but who have been hired in advance they will be absorbed according to the company’s allocations if the adoption of the budget by the government grades will be a priority for them, they also have raised a number of wages for the contracts of five thousand Riyals Per month.
The gas filling area Brom west of the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout facility, produces per day 7000 cylinder months ago, having produced 3000 bottles per day, and do this job workers strike, in order to cover the increasing invasions of the domestic gas material in the various districts of Hadramout.
