Morocco: Cleaners protest against unionist dismissal

Morocco – The workers of “sita”, the commissioner, have protested against the cleaning sector in Casablanca, which is part of the Confederation of Democratic Labor, following the dismissal of about 20 unionists.

The workers themselves, at a protest, denounced the decision of the French company, considering it an arbitrary decision.

Abdel Rahim Idrissi, the general secretary of the union said that this vigil in front of the headquarters of the Casablanca city council comes after the arbitrary decision against the Trade Union Bureau and workers unions.

The spokesman explained that the management of the company authorized by the city council to manage the cleaning sector refuses to communicate with workers, and added: the doors were closed in our faces, and took the decision to arbitrarily expel the trade unionists, accusing it of violation of the notebook exercises, What will not make Casablanca reach its goal of a clean city, as King Mohammed VI emphasized in his famous speech, as he said.
