Qatar – Sources revealed that ministries and government institutions will activate a new system to track the attendance and departure of employees starting early next month According to the new system there will be direct deduction in salary in case of absence without acceptable excuses to enhance discipline and control the performance of employees. The sources confirmed that human resources departments have already begun to work on the disbursement of the leave grant to employees in the country after it became possible for the employee, in accordance with the new system, to apply for the leave grant at any time without linking it to the annual leave, so that the employee can obtain his leave at any time. Employees wonder about the mechanism through which the system will deduct from salaries, and whether it will be deducted from the salary automatically by connecting the system of attendance and absence, or will first consider the excuses provided by employees.
