Palestine _The Agricultural and Food Industries Association carried out a field visit to the agricultural communities in the central Jordan Valley in order to meet the farmers and meet their needs in preparation for the implementation of specialized training in several agricultural fields including medicinal herbs, And the consumer alike.
The delegation was attended by Abdel Karim Dweikat, head of the branch of the Agriculture and Food Industries Association in Nablus, Aisha Hamouda, member of the executive office of the Arab Union and the official of the Womens Department of the General Union of Palestinian Workers Unions, where they visited the Sahl Sumait area in the Jordan Valley and the village of Froush Beit Dajan.
Abdul Karim Duykat, head of the branch of the Agriculture and Food Industries Association in Nablus, noted that the tour of the Jordan Valley in general aims to develop a training program for agricultural workers to meet their needs.
He added that the program will be in three stages: in the field of medicinal herbs, the optimal use of plastic houses, and how to support farmers to reduce their losses, in addition to helping them in the development of their product.
He pointed out that the unions mission in this field is clear, to make the national product at the top of the products, to make it an ideal product free from damages and chemicals, in addition to protecting and educating workers to reduce the use of chemical pesticides.
