Tunisia – A 55-year-old woman was killed and 10 other women were injured following a car overturning in the Al-Fawwar district of Beja province at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
An Isuzu car was carrying a large number of female farmers on the sub-road between Tibar and Rehana in the Fawwar district, according to civil protection sources in the area, to the national radio. The wounded women are now receiving the necessary care at the local hospital. The incident renewed the controversy over the transportation means of workers in the agricultural sector, which lacks safety conditions.
