Egypt_Enterprises in the agricultural production sector appealed to the Governor of the New Valley to intervene to solve the problem of the lack of bread supply in the remote area, after reducing the share of the main bakery they rely on to get bread about 3500 loaves to the 500 cards, which led to the inability of workers and employees To get their needs of a loaf of bread.
A large number of workers, technicians and employees gathered in front of the bakery and raised a series of notes to the competent authorities to ask them to solve the problem, which lasted more than a month and they suffered the most because of the lack of bread supply and the absence of any another alternative.
The Governor of the New Valley and the Director of Supply intervened to discuss the problem and solve it so that they would not have to stop their work and escalate their position. They only wanted to provide the basic necessities of life, namely, a loaf of bread in that remote area where they decided to work instead of resorting to asylum. Mohammed Ahmed, one of the workers in the region, said that East Al Owainat includes a large number of investment and government companies. They follow one of the branches of the Ministry of Agriculture in the production sector farms. They relied entirely on the subsidized bakery in that area to provide their bread needs, until the smart card project was implemented. The daily production of the bakery has caused a daily crisis in workers lives, prompting them to file complaints with officials for a speedy resolution of the problem.
Salah al-Sayyid, director of supply in the province, said that the bakery located in the east of Awainat belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture, which is responsible for its departments, and the smart card was applied to it based on the share spent.
