Morocco: Migrant workers share Moroccan Labour Day celebrations

Morocco – Dozens of African workers and workers from sub-Saharan countries and Filipinos celebrated   Labour Day in their own way, saying they were under the umbrella of the the Moroccan trade Union. All the Filipinos and Sub-Saharan Africans were keen to form a human mass isolated from the rest of the protesters. They put up banners of their own and raised slogans that expressed their own demands, away from the slogans of the unions, which raised political slogans against Saad Eddin Ottomani government. The Philippine protesters complained, in a special way, of injustice by the Moroccans employers. In their turn, workers from the sub-Saharan African countries came out demanding Moroccans employers to stop racism against them and that they be paid the wages they deserve.
