Jordan – A parliamentary memorandum called on the government to cancel the work permits of Gaza residents living in Jordan. According to the memo, which was adopted by MP Ahmad al-Raqab, he said: The government canceled the permit fees to obtain a work permit on the people of Gaza, but kept the requirement to obtain this permit which caused psychological anxiety for workers, who do not see themselves but the real fabric of the people of this nation”. The memo called for studying the important issue and seeking to cancel all permits. Jordan decided at the end of 2015 to require Gazans living in Jordan to obtain a permit to be able to work in the Kingdom. and this step was widely criticized, and considered it discrimination against Gazans residing in the Kingdom.
