Jordan- Head of the Civil Service Bureau, Dr. Khalaf Al-Humaysat, affirmed that the amended system of the civil service system, which was recently published in the Official Gazette, included the amendment of Article 19 of the highest category of general secretaries, governors and general managers subject to civil retirement system, and trimming salaries of those subject to social security and comprehensive contracts if they are higher than the planned rate, it is a reform measure that provides financial savings on the public treasury of the state. He said the government had talked about repairing the deformities in the second group of the top category where it was divided into two parts, a section is subject to the law of civil retirement and these salaries are low and the second section is subject to social security on comprehensive contracts and there is a difference between by a large margin. Hamisat said salaries of all state employees in the first, second, third and special grades were equal, therefore, the government decided to increase the basic salary of the first group of the second group and the special category of civil retirement up to 200 dinars, to reduce the gap between the salaries of public secretaries subject to civil retirement and those subject to social security on the other hand. He pointed out that the high salaries of those who are subject to social security by comprehensive contracts will be reduced, close to the salaries of the secretaries general in the first section of the second group of the higher class
