Bahrain – A group of employees organized a strike and stood in front of the company they work for to demand their salaries that has been delayed for 5 months, they said. The strikers pointed out during their gathering that they had tried to communicate with several parties over the past months to solve their problem but all was in vain. One worker said that they received an answer from the companys manager to pay their salaries on 17 April 2017 and when they went to see him he was not in his office. He added that the manager was promising them each month to hand over salaries, but he never met his promise, and they do not know who to resort to or to complain. We have many responsibilities and obligations from loans, rents of houses, school expenses, family, residency permits, etc. We do not know how long this situation will last.
