Tunisia: workers of a steel factory prevented the Minister of Industry from entering the factory

Tunisia – Workers of the steel factory in Bourguiba town of Bizerte province prevented the Minister of Industry” Ziad Al-athari” from entering the factory by closing doors.

Their refusal to receive him came against the background of his statements saying that the factory ended and encouraged to approve the law on the export of iron waste abroad.

The Minister of Trade and Industry Ziad Al-Athari called on him to prevent him from entering the factory by apologizing before considering their problems and decided to take all legal measures against anyone who prevents any minister in the government from entering a public institution.

Al-Athari also contacted the Secretary-General of the Union of Labor, “Noureddine Téboubi”, to consider what he saw in the steel factory at the Bourguiba house.
