Mauritania – Snim workers in Azouerate decided to carry out escalating steps in response to what they called the lack of real dialogue with the company’s management that started a few days ago. Workers of the Snim mines company are demanding the implementation of the agreement signed by the company with them two years ago, as well as encouraging allowances. The workers staged a mass rally on Sunday evening, during which they said they would stop working fully on Labour Day on May 1 and organize a unified labour march for all the unions in the same day.
