Egypt: Police busted African gang for human trafficking

Egypt_ Police busted an international gang of foreign members, bringing in foreign nationals, and exploiting them to work in different professions in Egypt, and found in their possession false documents stating that they are students.

 

Investigations confirmed that these workers were entered under tourist visas for three months. The workers were placed in apartments in Nasr City. In addition, residences were issued under false documents indicating that they were students at a university inside the country. Investigations also confirmed that the defendants set up fake websites with fake tourist companys name in one of the foreign countries, to issue tourist visa for the workers.

 

Police raided two apartments in Nasr City, and resulted and seized documents, papers and false letters, in addition to 48 passports belonging to a number of foreign countries, 11 mobile phones and two computers were seized, and their examination revealed that they contained many passport pictures.
