Jordan: Dismissed workers arrested for protesting in front of the municipality building

Jordan – The security forces arrested a number of dismissed workers of Jerash municipality for protesting in front of municipality building and in Althawra square, on Saturday, and were accused of destroying the mayors office. Police are also looking for 12 others on charges of vandalism of public property, slander. In addition to an attempt to prevent the mayor, Moin Al-Khasawneh, from entering his office. The dismissed workers demand that the mayor cancel the decision to terminate their services, especially since they have been working for many years.
