Algeria – Landfill workers from Jumma Valley in the province of Glizan staged a strike denouncing the administrations failure to respond to their demands. Workers’ main demands are to raise the level of social services and improve working conditions by protecting the worker from risks, distribute money grants and provide facilities and hiring a trade union representative to ensure their rights. In addition to inviting the administration to fulfill its promises to the workers, away from the language of threat, abuse and expulsion, which this administration has taken against them, against the workers who defend their legitimate rights.
