Lebanon – about 90 Operation and maintenance workers at the drinking water and sanitation Authority in the city of Baalbek and Nabee Sheet and some of the northern Bekaa villages, organized a protest in front of the Authority where they stopped the work and closed the doors following a decision that their contracts would not be renewed. One of them read a statement on behalf of the protesters, in which he rejected any settlement and called on the government to issue a decree to employ them, and appealed to the concerned and the three presidents to intervene to find a suitable solution to their cause
