Palestine – The coordinator of the Arab women trade unionists network in Palestine, Aisha Hamouda, announced that the Network in Palestine will start operating following the completion of a series of meetings with the Secretary General of The Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) Shaher Saad and a member of The General Union of Palestinian Women Dalal Salama and representative of community organizations. The body was formed of representatives from the General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank and Gaza, representatives of the General Federation of Women, a team of women and representatives of media professionals, researchers and jurists, in order to reach decent work and legislation to protect women from exploitation.
