Yemen: Houthi Attorney General orders to investigate the protesting cleaners

Yemen_ Attorney General Abdul Aziz al-Baghdadi, appointed by the Huthis, ordered to open an investigation with the cleaners of Sanaa striking against unpaid salaries, after the accumulation of garbage in the streets of the capital Sanaa. Al-Baghdadi said: The sensitivity and seriousness of the situation and the issue on the life and health of citizens from the continued failure of the competent authorities to clean the streets, the Public Prosecutors Office acted responsibly to open an investigation and find  truth behind the issue “.Activists in social networking sites ridiculed the decision of the Huthi-appointed public prosecutor, and said that he should have issued an absentee ruling on employers who did not give the workers their salaries, especially the cleaners, who carried out their strike and proved that their job is important to prevent chaos and spread of the epidemic on the streets of Sanaa. Over the past two weeks, the streets of the capital have seen the accumulation of garbage remnants in the alleyways and sidewalks of Sanaa streets as a result of a strike by cleaning workers demanding payment of their salaries.
