Morocco – About 23 workers protested in front of a sand quarry in the Agawatim al-Tarbiyah in Marrakech, because they were expelled from their jobs a week ago. One of the expelled workers said that they entered into an open strike and demanded that the regional authorities intervene urgently to settle their legal status, explaining that they got expelled because they claimed their rights, which led the company to take this arbitrary decision. We demand the settlement of the legal status of workers, which is a legitimate right for us, the owner of the company violates workers legal rights” said another worker.
