Morocco: Radiation Therapy workers continue their strike

Morocco – The radiologists at the Hassan II University Hospital continue to protest against the arbitrary measures taken against them, as they were subjected to unfair disciplinary punishment after exercising their constitutional right to strike. The National University of Health affiliated to the Moroccan Labour Union and the movement of nurses for the equation called for strike to demand scientific and administrative equation, however, the management of the center did not like the strike despite the commitment of the striking institutions to provide hospital treatments and daily radiations to more than 120 patients a day. The workers held the Center fully responsible for what might happen in the Hospital of Ancology and called on the authorities to intervene urgently and bring just to Radiotherapy Department, who spare no effort in serving the patients,  unlike the General Director who only serve influential people in the city of Fez according to workers.
