Morocco – The guards and cleaners at the regional hospital in Al Hoceima organized a protest inside the regional hospitals courtyard for 24 hours against a series of measures taken by the hospital administration, such as arbitrary dismissal and letting them do work not within their job description, and if they refuse they get dismissed. Workers said that the cleaners are deprived of their basic rights such as health coverage and they are not included in the National Social Security Fund, and they are not entitled to annual holiday, and they also earn less than the minimum wage, and they are constantly suffer from abuses and are threatened by dismissal.
