Morocco: The suffering of the textile factory Sicomek”’s workers continues in “Meknes”

Workersof “Sicomek” for textile factory in “Meknes”, Morocco, who have stopped working since last November, continue to suffer without receiving their financial dues and wages, despite the intervention of the concerned authorities and the protest of workers and employees of the establishment.

The file of the institution was referred to the judiciary last December, forcing thefactory administration to express its willingness to pay the dues of workers and resume work. It is a promise that everyone is still waiting for until today.

The factory workers live in difficult social and family conditions due to their professional status and their suspension from work, in addition to their depravation of their minimum rights and financial entitlements.
