The Director General of the Jordanian Social Security Foundation denied that the Foundation has begun to study any amendments to the Social Security Law with a view to raising the retirement age ceiling or cancelling early retirement.
The Foundation is currently working on the ninth study of the financial situation of the Foundation in cooperation with the International Labour Organization, pointing out that the preliminary recommendations for the study will be received at the end of next March.
It also pointed out that there were no proposals presented to the Council of Ministers in this regard and stressed that the Foundation will announce the results of the ninth study once it is completed.
