The Palestinian Authority in Ramallah cut the salaries of Palestinian Airlines employees last January without any explanation, forcing them to organize a protest, in front of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, where they were informed them that their salaries had not yet been paid.
It is noteworthy that fromlast March, the Palestinian authority has deducted between 30% and 40% of the salaries of its employees in Gaza Strip without the West Bank, while observers stress the continuation of punitive measures imposed by the authority on Gaza Strip. It includes health areas that suffer from a severe shortage of medicines, medical consumables and fuel.
