The daily workers of the electricity and gas company have been suffering for three years without any intervention from the State, in the midst of the accusations of the unions to the politicians and the for collusion and division of the electricity sector on the basis of political quotas and sectarianism.
More than 100 workers have carried out a protest, two days ago, at the companys headquarters to ask for their inclusion in the electricity company and the settlement of their professional positions, as well as the payment of their wages that they did not receive for two months and the enjoyment of health coverage.
The security forces has quickly surrounded the protest and threatened the protesters tostop their strike by force and to arrest them. The workers were alert and responsible. They suspended their protest, announcing their organization to a press conference, in which they will inform the public about the scandal and the suffering of about 1,500 workers.
