Morocco – The urban community of Tangier has delayed the payment of salaries for the month of June, despite the powers of the community’s president, Bashir al-Abdalawi to order the payment of salaries. As of Sunday evening, the workers of the Tangier group have not been paid, causing financial problems for many of them who were counting on receiving the monthly salary before Eid. The Prime Minister Saad Eddin Othmani previously orders to the Minister of Finance to pay the state employees their salaries before Eid. The urban community of Tangier excluded the compensation for overtime work from this month’s salary, they are also more likely to deduct wages from employees who participated in a previous strike.
