Morocco – Employees of the National Union of Social Security beneficiaries decided to strike in protest against the administrations systematic disregard of the demands to accelerate the improvement of working conditions, and to provide the necessary human resources and adequate attention to the needs and demands of beneficiaries in order to reduce pressure and occupational oppression within the sector. The workers stressed that the strike came after the exhaustion of the all attempts and direct means with the administration and the deterioration of professional relations between the social parties with the institution following the refusal of the public administration to respect the principle of social partnership and to conduct serious and responsible social dialogue, leading to a just and equitable settlement of the legitimate demands made by the League since the signing of the Collective Convention in 2015.
