KUWAIT: Court of Appeal consider Kuwaits current workers union council is invalid

KUWAIT: The Court of Appeal decided to cancel the decision of the Manpower Authority to refrain from awarding a certificate to the Kuwait Workers Union elected on October 2015. The court annulled the current Executive Council of the Workers Union, which was elected on March 2017. The court also annulled the certificate issued by that Authority to adopt the formation of the current executive council of the union. The court considered that the previous council is the legitimate council of the General Union of Kuwaiti Workers.
