Egypt- The number of victims injured in “Sidpec” Petrochemicals in Alexandria explosion, raised to 44 cases because of a gas leak, which led to a huge fire that resulted in injuries among worker. Dr. Majdi Hejazi undersecretary of ministry of health said that Alexandria hospitals received 44 cases: 36 cases were received in Al-Amriya Hospital, 6 cases at Ras Al-Teen Hospital, and 2 more in AL Jumhuria hospital. He said that 8 cases are in critical condition as more than 70% of their bodies got burned. The Undersecretary said that all hospitals are well equipped to treat the victims.
