Tunisia – Workers of the Tunisian Insurance Company protested to demand the Ministry of Finance not to waive 16% of the companys capital to the foreign partner, which currently owns 35%. The workers demanded to reconsider the contract with a French institution since 2008, which granted them 35% of the “Star shares. Workers say that this contract is fraught with lots of irregularities and stinks of corruption. As the waiver of 16 % of the company’s capital will lead to negative results that cannot be accepted by the companys employees, demanding not to deal with this partner that proved lack of seriousness and unwillingness to invest in Tunisia.
