Yemen – The coup militias prevented a delegation from the Ministry of Human Rights in Dhamar province and a local pro-militia rights group from entering the central prison in Dhamar province. Local sources quoted human rights activists in the province of Dhamar as saying that members of the coup militias controlling the central prison building prevented officials from the ministry of human rights and a number of human rights activists from entering the reform of the central prison to review the conditions of prisoner who are subject to constant violations as they have very difficult health and living conditions. The activists said that the prevention is a flagrant violation of all laws and customs, and unprecedented abuse. According to the activists the central prison witnessed flagrant violations, in which the prisoners, especially the juvenile, were subjected to torture and continued violations and attacks by militia, they stressed that reform is now four times more overcrowded, including abducted and forcibly disappeared.
