Egypt – Hundreds of employees of QueenService organized a strike in the port of Sokhna to demand a better health insurance instead of government insurance, after the management refused to grant sick leave to injured workers. Al-Nasr Service and Maintenance (Queen Service) is a company of the National Service Project of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, established in 1988. . A bus belonging to the company crashed in an accident near Sokhna port in Suez, wounding 13 workers who were transferred to hospitals. Hundreds of evening, morning of workers refused to go to work at the port, protesting the hospitals refusal to write medical reports to allow injured workers from sick leaves, while Egyptian media outlets ignored the incident.
