Based on a survey conducted across the country, around 60% of women academics included in the study have not participated in committees or managerial positions. . The report pointed out that despite the fairness of the legal texts and regulations, but the manifestations of discrimination and the violation of these texts appear in the actual practice in the official universities. The report acknowledged that the majority of the public universities do not comply with the insurance policy. The report stressed the inequality between women academics and men academies in terms of universitys travel allowance. Universities reduced the duration of maternity leave to 70 days instead of 90 as is the case in the Ministry of Education. The report refers to the lack of laws and regulations that support women academics in cases of widowhood and divorce, while the legislation took into account the marital conditions of men academic and explicitly provided for the rights related to his social status
