One of the workers said that the owner of the company is in the process of establishing a new company, making a plan to liquidate the current company, we have been working for 20 years here and he wants us out just like this”, he said. A number of workers were surprised by the termination of their contracts. Ibrahim Thabet, a worker, confirmed that he has been working for 10 years in this company, he says that his dismissal will affect his family stressing that they decided not to leave the street until they return to work. Workers appealed to President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, to intervene quickly and save them and their families from displacement.
