Egypt – -The Water and Sewage Water Company has referred Mohamed Hardan, the head of the quality union for the companys employees, for investigation, for demanding allowances for workers. Hardan launched a campaign to demand the allowances issued by the President of the Republic and addressed the President of the General Federation of Trade Unions and the Committee of the Labour Force in the parliament to intervene. Hardan was surprised to be summoned by the companys legal affairs for investigation. . Hardan said that their demands are legitimate. The Center for Trade Unions and Workers Services expressed its solidarity with the demand of the workers and its refusal to investigate workers on labour issues and dismiss them for demanding their rights, and maintains dialogue and negotiation within the framework of the Constitution and the law that gives unions and workers representatives the right to collective bargaining in order to improve work conditions
