Lebanon: Tripoli municipal workers demand late wages

Lebanon – Tripoli municipal Workers Union held a meeting headed by Hisham Al-Abdullah to demand late salaries. Al-Abdullah said: After suffering, oppression and deprivation in the municipality of Tripoli, we came to inform you about the dire conditions we experience every day, hoping you would respond and stand with us to lift the injustice and deprivation of the people of your city and defend our rights and our stolen dignity.” We appealed to the presidents and ministers and the Governor of North Lebanon and all the politicians and competent references, and we did not find ears of concern to respond to our legitimate demands,” he added.
