Oman – The labour inspection team in the Ministry of Manpower caught 325 workers for violating the provisions of the Labour Law during the period from 3 to 9 September, of them 248 commercial workers, 42 agriculture workers and 35 domestic workers, and they are to be deported to their countries. The inspection teams caught 293 workers: Of these, 173 are fugitive workers, 105 are dismissed workers and 18 workers do not carry a document. North Batinah Governorate recorded the highest index during this period, with 126 employees followed by Muscat Governorate with 84 employees. The competent authorities of the Ministry of Manpower to take legal action on them.
