Egypt – The Supreme Court of Appeal of Cairo appealed to the Northern Workers Appellate Office in northern Cairo to cancel the first ruling issued for Episco and Khaleda Petroleum Company against the employees of Episco and to return the case to the first court to reconsider the workers demands. The workers demands include extra time allowance, 40 minutes allowance, rest time allowance, desert allowance, expatriation allowance, nature of work allowance, hazard pay, flight allowance, bus allowance, from the date of appointment until final dismissal. Dr. Esam Al-Tabhakh, a lawyer for the Supreme Constitutional Court and the legal adviser of Episco, said that the ruling is historic in favor of the workers and is fair to them.
