Egypt – Hundreds of workers from Omega Company for ceramics in the tenth of Ramadan industrial area spent their Eid without salaries or any special grants for Eid or for the start of school season. Workers spent their Eid on a strike and they were prevented from entering the company during Eid. Workers said the companys security department prevented them from entering, and only allowed the department managers to enter to negotiate, but the administration did not respond to workers demands, which include the payment of the profits for past six months. The administration offered to pay three months and the school and Eid grants, but workers rejected this offer, hundreds of workers continue to strike as they entered day 9, and they will keep their strike until their demands are met.
