Jordan – Employees of Sanam Glass Factory, located in Maan Development Zone, demanded the Ministry of Labour and Maan Development Company to intervene and improve their working conditions and pay their late salaries. A number of workers and technicians working at the Sanam Glass factory in Maan complained that they have not been receive their salaries for months, and that the factory withdrew their health insurance and denied them annual increases, and others complained that they were arbitrary dismissed . The technicians in the factory explained that they had submitted the complaint to Ma’an Labour Directorate, to intervene and improve their living conditions according to the law. However, these interventions did not achieve their demands. A number of technicians whose services have been terminated demanded to be employed again in the factory, stressing that their services were terminated without any justification, and that they were not been paid their dues.
