Lebanon – The Government Hospitals Workers Union in Lebanon went on a general and comprehensive strike in all public hospitals to demand the implementation of law 46 on the series of ranks and salaries. The Commission called on all concerned in the Ministry of Public Health to implement the instructions of the Minister of Public Health Ghassan Hasbani, which he launched at a meeting in the presence of the President of the General Labour Union Dr. Bishara Asmar , and the Legal Counsel of the Union, to proceed expeditiously with the drafting of salary scales in accordance with Article 17 of Law 46, which is fair to all the employees.
