Yemen: female teachers protest to demand salaries

Yemen – Hundreds of Yemeni teachers protested in the streets of the capital Sanaa, to demand the salaries as they have not been paid for more than a year. Um Afrah al-Khulani, one of the participants in the demonstration, said that this step comes within the framework of the ongoing activities expected to escalate in the coming period to pressure the government of the Houthi group, which controls all government agencies in Sanaa, to hand over salaries and stop targeting the educational process.
