Jordan – The Ministry of Labour said it has taken all legal measures against a factory in Al Hassan Industrial City after receiving reports from the inspection department of the labour office in the industrial city that there are violations against the owner of the factory and management. The statement issued by the ministry said that violations are related to delayed wages, lack of a decent work environment, lack of cleanliness of workers accommodations and other violations that harm the workers according to their claim. The statement added that the ministry warned the factory at first and then had to close it for repeating the violations, pointing that some workers moved to work to other factories while others refused to work in other factories. The ministry said that after a month and a half the owner of the factory requested to reopen the factory, the ministry agreed after checking that all violations been cleared
