EGYPT – Dozens of workers of cleanliness improving the environment project in the city of Minya ALQmh in Sharkia province, went on strike, and gathered at their headquarters in the city center; to protest the mistreatment of the mayor. One of the workers, Shahta Ali, said they had declared a strike to protest the mistreatment they suffer by the citys mayor, General Essam Gad. The workers demanded the cancellation of the decision issued by the mayor of the city to demand the supervisors to work as cleaners. Workers also demanded the mayor to treat them fairly. Workers refused to work since yesterday, which led to the spread the garbage in the streets of the city, especially next to government institutions, and the service complex adjacent to the city council and before the court and the civil registry.
