Mauritania – Dozens of workers of the Chinese company Poly Hon Done demonstrated after the company arbitrary dismissed them without giving them their rights, calling on the local authorities to intervene to solve their problem. The protesters demanded the Chinese company to give them their rights and shouted at the demonstration about the role of the inspection department in the Ministry of Labour and the Governor in protecting them from what they had been subjected to, and they called on the President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz to intervene personally in order to redress them.
