Algeria: workers of education ministry protest for being described as animals

Algeria – Workers of Education Directorate in Tizi Ouzou  went on a strike for a full day, to protest against the repeated attacks on staff and police working within the Directorate , workers revealed that the protest came after the  National Council for independent  teachers   Cnapeste described workers  as animals. Workers considered the remarks of Cnapeste dangerous precedent in the education sector, demanding the authorities to investigate the case, as a policewoman were humiliated by a teacher , the she was taken to the police station in a civilized manner and was release after she apologized for fear of prosecution. However the teacher later escalated and  sparked a media outcry in which she confirmed she was attacked and beaten by the police.
