MOROCCO – Three hundred workers at the Skasawa mines, in the province of Chishawah, decided to go one strike at the exit of Imantanut city despite the cold weather, to protest against the nonpayment of their salaries for two months. Police forces prevented workers from marching however workers used taxies to head to the state of Marrakesh to denounce the miserable conditions they were living. Their company has alleged that they are facing bankruptcy, and that was the reason they couldn’t pay the salaries. Workers said that they are facing difficult due to the nonpayment of their salaries and they are now unable to support their families.
