Tunisia – Under the theme The role of social dialogue in promoting economic development and sustainable development, the Global Deal Forum was held yesterday in Tunis with the participation of the Ministers of Social Affairs of Tunisia, Sweden, the Tunisian General Union of Labour, the Tunisian Union for Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, the Arab Trade Union Confederation represented by its Executive Secretary. The forum included the Swedish experience and the Tunisian experience in the field of social dialogue and its role in promoting economic development. The Arab Trade Unions Confederation presented a presentation about its pioneering program Enhancing Social Dialogue in Jordan, Tunisia and Morocco and its expected results.
