Algeria – workers of the Sidi Bellabas plantaion went on a strike to protest the delay of their wages for four months, as well as the lack of support and projects, stressing that the administration promised to pay wages however their promises have not been met. The protesters called for dialogue to reach a solution pointing that there are several plantation in the country that do not suffer bad conditions, workers called on the first judge in the country to intervene as they suffer from the nonpayment of salaries. The plantation currently employ 72 workers, and it used to employ about 120 workers in 19 hectares, as it plants roses, forest trees and others.
